Anward House is built to make the most of the stunning views of the Pisa Range and Mt Difficulty, the mountain that inspired the naming of internationally renown Mt Difficulty wines. Wide verandas contribute to outdoor living bathed in sunshine from the middle of the day to sunset. Here our guests can relax on our outdoor furniture to enjoy views of Mt Difficulty, the beginnings of the Kawerau Gorge and the backbone-like Pisa Range.
Guest accommodation is a wing of four bedroom offering a choice of twin, double and queensize beds. Bathroom facilities are shared but we do give our guests the choice of two. One offers the luxury of a deep free-standing French Tub and the other a commodious shower. Either option, we promise you'll definitely feel spoiled.
Size and layout allows Anward House to provide three public areas our guests are welcome to treat as their own. A large lounge with wood burner on a schist hearth, an extended lobby with comfortable seating and dining alcove with a large farmhouse table that seats up to 8 or more. Guests are warmly invited to use the modern country-style
kitchen for coffee and tea making as well as make use of laundry facilities.
A continental breakfast is included in the tariff with a cooked breakfast available on
